Welcome to the Suite Family

Hi—and welcome.

Our family has traveled a lot over the years, and like most families, the way we travel has changed as our kids have grown. There were years built around convenience, naps, and finding the closest pool. Then came the years of balancing activities, schedules, and school breaks. And now, with tweens and teens, travel looks a little different again.

These days, we’re leaning into experiences that create real family time—beautiful places, memorable dinners, great hotels, and the kind of trips everyone actually wants to be on.

We also believe luxury travel doesn’t have to mean blindly spending more. Sometimes the best upgrade isn’t the ocean view—it’s the extra bathroom. Sometimes club access is absolutely worth it, and sometimes it’s not. Sometimes the “splurge” is the smartest decision you can make for a smoother, better trip.

And no—we’re not pretending luxury travel is always cheap. It isn’t. But there are smarter ways to do it. Knowing where to spend, where to save, when to use points, when an upgrade is worth paying for, and what little travel hacks can unlock a much better experience without unnecessary cost—that’s where the strategy comes in.

That’s why this blog was born.

The goal of this space is simple: to explore family-first luxury travel—where elevated experiences meet real-life family logistics.

We’ll talk about:

  • which upgrades are actually worth it

  • what luxury splurges make sense (and what to skip)

  • hotel and resort reviews for families with older kids

  • insider tips, lounge access, suite strategy, and booking smarter

  • points, perks, and practical ways to make luxury travel work better for your family

Most importantly, this is about creating more meaningful family memories—without the stress, guesswork, or wasted spend.

At the end of the day, we’re not chasing luxury for luxury’s sake—we’re chasing the kind of travel that gives our family more time together, better experiences, and trips we’ll actually remember.

Luxury travel should feel special, but it should also work for real families.

So whether you're planning a quick weekend escape, a resort vacation, or your next “let’s make this one memorable” trip—we’re glad you’re here.

Let’s make family travel a little smarter, a little easier, and a lot more fun.
